Combo Salad

Crunchy Sprout Combo Salad with flat bread

Into a large bowl, place:

1 yellow or red capsicum, diced
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 red onion, sliced
2 Tomatoes, diced
Add Crunchy Combo Sprouts

Whisk together: 1 tbsp wine vinegar or lemon juice, 3 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper. Toss through with torn basil.

Cut 1 battered Lebanese flat bread into strips and fry until crisp.
Add to salad and toss.

 
Bruchetta

Bruschetta with Onion Sprouts

In a bowl add Onion Sprouts with diced tomatoes, chopped basil, olive oil and pepper.

Grill slices of bread then rub with a garlic clove.

Top generously with the sprout and tomato mix.

Snow Pea Sprouts, potato and avocado salad

Boil 500g of potatoes in salted water until soft.

Peel and slice 1 avocado into thick slices. Put into a bowl and add juice of 1 lemon, splash of olive oil, chunks of potato and Snow Pea Sprouts.

Season with salt and pepper and toss.

 

 

 
BLT

Alfalfa Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato

Fry 4 rashers of bacon until crisp, and drain.

Toast 2 bread rolls and slice open.

Add lettuce, bacon, sliced tomato and top with Alfalfa Sprouts.

Season to taste.

 

 

 
Frittata

Spaghetti Frittata with Broccoli Sprouts

Cook 250g spaghetti in boiling water. Drain and add a dash of olive oil.

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Add 1 clove of garlic (chopped). Toss in the spaghetti, coating it with the oil and garlic.

In a bowl, beat 6 eggs with 2 tbsp of cream, salt and pepper to taste. Then add Broccoli Sprouts and add to spaghetti mixture. Spread it out and cook until bottom is golden and frittata is firm.

Sprinkle with grated cheese and finish under the grill.

 
Pork salad

Pork with Sunflower Sprouts

In a large pan, cook 500g of pork mince with 2 tbsp of water on medium heat, stirring occasionally for 6-7 mins or until cooked.

Add 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp grated ginger, 1 small onion (sliced) and chili flakes to taste.

Cook for a further 3-4 mins, then add Sunflower Sprouts, chopped mint and coriander and toss lightly.

Serve on lettuce leaves and add more Sunflower Sprouts, chopped mint, coriander and chopped, roasted peanuts if desired.
